DrumView is developing a mobile system for automated quality control in aircraft cabins. The objective of the research project is the complete digital capture of aircraft cabin interiors using advanced sensor technology, image processing, and artificial intelligence. Automated inspections enable the early detection, documentation, and traceable evaluation of damage and quality deviations.
As a project partner, 3D.aero contributes its expertise in mobile robotics, positioning technologies, and automated data acquisition. Together with the project partners, 3D.aero is developing the technological foundation for the efficient and reproducible digitalization of aircraft cabins. The automation and tracking solutions provided by 3D.aero enable precise sensor guidance and create the basis for scalable quality inspection.
