High-Precision Surface Inspection Using White Light Interferometry

Our surface inspection systems enable highly precise measurement of a wide range of components, regardless of material or geometry. Using the innovative measurement principle of white light interferometry, even complex surfaces are captured and analyzed with µm-level resolution.

The system utilizes the interference of light waves to perform exact, absolute 3D measurement of the surface of the inspected workpiece. This enables reliable digitalization, analysis, and evaluation of defects, anomalies, and specific surface parameters with the highest level of precision.

As this measurement method is required in a wide variety of applications, our HP-X product line focuses on the use of high-accuracy surface measurement across diverse industrial scenarios.

To clearly differentiate levels of automation and ease of handling, the HP-X product portfolio is structured into the categories Flexible and Automatic:

  • HP-FX (Flexible) enables flexible use as a cobot in hand-guided mode or with automated, predefined measurement routines for localized defect measurement

  • HP-AX (Automatic) fully digitalizes a measurement object and combines defect detection and inspection within a single automated system

HP-FX Flexible

The HP-FX system is our flexible solution for high-precision surface inspection in the µm range. The system is deployed directly on the shop floor.
